          There are many types of trailers pulled by professional drivers, tankers, dry vans, reefers, car haulers, and more. You've probably seen the stickers on the back of the trailers called dry vans that say "if you can't see my mirrors, then I can't see you." This is a reminder to the average driver that there are many blind spots for commercial vehicles. Remember the last time you rented a U-Haul? Now times the blind spots by 3. Please give space to commercial vehicles and pass with room.

          3. WE CAN SEE YOU...STEALING OUR PARKING SPOTS

          Commercial transportation is federally regulated. Drivers are limited in the number of hours they can drive and the amount of breaks they need to take during the day. When RVs and motor homes use spaces designated for commercial vehicles at the truck stops and rest areas, this means many drivers have to park in areas not designated for them. The result is often less rest, a ticket or fine, or even missing a meal if the parking the driver finds is not close to a safe place to park for food.
